PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE REGARDING PICKS - PREFERRED METHOD THIS YEAR WILL BE TO TEXT THEM TO US
Membership Envelopes — Will be available for pickup starting Wednesday the 4th of February.
Please Fill them out legibly giving us your full name, phone, email if you have one and your race name.
Place your membership fee inside, seal them and give them to Doug aka “Ozzy” or Terri.
If you each sign up and commit to take the picks for one race we will have the help we need this year.
We know that some of the members are out of state, for everyone else contact Terri or Ozzy to get your name on the list for a race or two.
There are a NUMBER OF Saturday double point races this year.
It takes at least two people a week to do this, one to enter the numbers on the sheet and at least one to answer the phones.
If the race is posted for 2:00 PM you need to be available and have the Pick Sheet no later than 1.00 PM.
Entrance Fee and Membership
As this is a club; membership is at the sole discretion of the club. You must come and pick up your club membership envelope at 203 E New St., Mountville or ask that it be mailed to you.
Membership fee will be $40.00 You must include your real name and phone number and e-mail address if you have one just in case there is a mix up on your picks or we need to contact you.
Place your membership fee in the envelope and seal it. Memberships received without this information or fee will not be accepted. This information will be kept confidential.
Once the green flag drops at Daytona on the 26th of February you will not be permitted to change your pool name.
Memberships will be accepted up to the start of the third race at Las Vegas on March 11th .
All membership fees must be paid in full by the drop of the green flag for the Las Vegas race on the 11th of March.
Picks will not be taken without payment in full NO EXCEPTIONS TO THE RULE!!!
People can join at any time but they can place no picks until they have paid their membership fee.
Picks and Call In
When placing your picks if you are calling in, give your pool name and car numbers only. We will state your pool name and read your picks back to you.
The preferred method this year will be to text your picks to Doug and Terri’s before the race or email them to stats@ournascarclub.info.
If you fail to call in or text your picks your previous weeks picks will carry over.
Terri and Doug’s phone numbers are 717-808-6827 or 717-808-6835; phones will be available for placing picks for one hour before the posted TV time of the race.
Example: Race is scheduled to come on TV at 2:00PM - Phones open at 1:00 PM. No picks will be accepted by phone before this time.
For all races picks end at the drop of the green flag.
In case of a delay picks will stop at the drop of the green flag or if the delay goes past 1 hour past the time in the schedule the picks will stop at that time Period.
Example - Race is posted to come on TV at 2:00 PM and there is a delay.
Picks get shut off at 3:00PM. Same goes if a race is postponed, any questions ask Doug “Ozzy” or Terri.
There will be no exceptions to this rule.
Points
For every points race you get to pick the Top 3 cars in the order in which you think they will finish You score points with the top three drivers.
First place is worth three points second place is worth two points and third place is worth one point.
If you are lucky enough to pick them in the exact order you will receive 6 bonus points.
For example you choose 20-48-13 and they finish in that order you will receive 12 points.
If the finishing order would have been 48-20-13 even though you picked 48 to finish 2nd you would still receive 3 points for his 1st place finish.
This year there are 6 Double Points races.

If you want to know where you stand or what the results are please check the website.
Stats are available at HTTP://WWW.OURNASCARCLUB.INFO and will normally he posted by Tuesday evening.

Error Corrections
As a note we are human arid despite our best efforts we sometimes make a mistake.
This is why we say your picks back to you for confirmation.
Make sure whomever you give your picks to reads them back to you.
Should we make a goof in putting them into the computer let us know the next week and we will double check the sheet.
Do not come to us two or three weeks later and tell us there was an error.
The only changes that will be made are if we goof when enTerring numbers from the live sheet to the computer.
If it goes past to the next race the numbers in the computer stand No Exceptions.
Prizes
Are awarded to the Top Ten people. Final scoring two people tie for first we take first and second place spilt it between them next person gets third place.
If three tie we would take first second and third next gets fourth etc.
This method of final scoring is known as Golf Rules by some people.
PLEASE NOTE TIMELINE FOR PRIZES: We do have jobs. It takes about a week from the last race to do all the final paperwork, finish the accounting for the books and put together the prizes.
Be patient with us. Winners will be notified when the prizes are available.
It we decide to have mid-season and/or end of season party’s be advised that they are totally voluntary Covered Dish affairs.
